At AKEMI, we are committed to delivering high-quality, handcrafted jewelry that meets your expectations. However, we understand that there may be rare occasions when a return is necessary. Our return policy is designed to protect both our customers and our brand while minimizing risk.
Eligibility for Returns
1. Return Period:
Returns are accepted within 14 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging.
2. Non-Returnable Items:
Custom-made or personalized jewellery items are not eligible for return unless they arrive damaged or defective.
Items marked as "final sale" cannot be returned or exchanged.
Return Process
1. Requesting a Return:
To initiate a return, please contact us at contact@akemi-geneva.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Please include your order number and a brief explanation of the reason for the return.
2. Shipping Costs:
The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
3. Return Authorization:
- Once your return request is approved, you will receive instructions on how to ship your item back to us. Returns without prior authorization will not be accepted.
Refunds and Exchanges
1. Damaged or Defective Items:
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately with photographic evidence. We will review the case, and if the damage is confirmed, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.
2. Refunds:
Refunds are only issued in cases where the item is proven to be damaged or defective. Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days.
3. Exchanges:
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, you will need to return the original item (following the return process) and place a new order.
Important Notes
Packaging:
Ensure that the returned item is securely packaged to prevent any damage during transit. We will not be responsible for items damaged during return shipping.
Final Sale Items:
Items purchased as part of a sale or clearance are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Unauthorized Returns:
Any unauthorized returns will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender at the sender's expense.
